How to trigger employee surveys from an import

In lieu of an HRIS integration, Voice surveys can also be triggered from employee imports.

The following HRIS-related surveys can be triggered from an employee import:

  • New Hire Survey
  • Employee Exit Survey

New Hire Survey

The New Hire Survey Voice campaign can distribute surveys based on the start date identified from Crosschq's employee import template.

Upon a successful import, if an employee record is detected with a start date within 45 days before OR after the last import date, a survey will be queued for the employee.

New Hire surveys will be sent to the employee's work email address on record.

Employee Exit Survey

The Employee Exit Survey Voice campaign can distribute surveys based on the termination date identified from Crosschq's employee import template.

Upon a successful import, if an employee record is detected with a termination date within 45 days before OR after the import date, a survey will be queued for the employee.

Exit surveys will be sent to the employee's personal email address on record. If a personal email address is missing, then we will send the survey to the employee's work email address.

Setting up triggered employee surveys

Employee surveys can be triggered by an import through the following method:

  1. Make sure either new hire or exit campaigns have been created in Voice (under the employee campaign section).
  2. Prepare an import file that stores your employee data. Read more about employee imports here.
  3. After an employee import is processed in Crosschq, you will be notified in-app that the import was successful. The notification will also prompt you to add employee records to any matching campaign. Select Click here to view which campaigns were triggered from the last import
  4. A window will appear where you can select which campaigns to trigger surveys based on your last import file. Click Trigger Surveys to proceed.
  5. A final confirmation window will appear. Click Confirm to distribute the new surveys to the respective campaigns.
